The sheer beauty exuded by its pristine white marble structure, its grand size and serene lush green nature come all together in such a remarkable way that it will simply take your breadth away. This famous and beautiful temple is located at the base of Moti Dungri hill. Moti Dungri hill is itself one of the most popular landmark places of Jaipur city.

Jaipur Temples

Garh Ganesh Temple is the most famous Ganesha temple of Jaipur city. It is located atop on famous Aravali hills. While there are thousands of Ganesha temple across India, Garh Ganesh Temple in Jaipur is kind of more distinguished for few unique reason.

Firstly, this is the only Ganesha temple in entire India that has a deity of child Ganesha and not customary Ganesha deity with an elephant truck. Secondly, for reaching this famous temple located on a hilltop people have to climb over 300 steps. Ganesha devotees have to brave through immense pain and hardship for climbing these steps and finally reach at the door steps of Lord Ganesha. Its like these steps are litmus test of devotee’s spiritual devotion towards lord Ganesha.

Shila Devi Temple

This small yet elegant temple is located inside iconic Amber Fort. Shila Devi, whose idol is placed inside this small temple, is considered to be one of the reincarnations of Hindu goddesses Durga. Legends believe that Maharaja Man Singh I of Amber was a diehard worshiper of Shila Devi and had won many pivotal wars during his lifetime after seeking blessings at this very temple.

Varahi Devi Temple

Located near Amber town near Jaipur city, Varahi Devi Temple is one of the oldest temples of entire Rajasthan state. Local people believe that this temple is as old as 900 years. As the name suggest, this immensely old temple is dedicated to Varahi Devi, who is considered as feminine power or consort of Lord Varah and boar incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

There is as such no architectural beauty to this temple and neither is there any lush greenery surrounding this temple. Locals believe that goddess Varahi Devi has a divine power to cure all skin diseases. A belief that achieved cult following after Raja Bharmal, one of the prominent Rajput kings of 16th century, was cured off his skin diseases after seeking blessing at this very temple.

This historical temple is located very near to Amber bus stand.
